Assisting in Development and Mentoring an Innovative Research Experience in Science!
This program is designed for 8th and 9th grade students who have an interest in science and would like to learn more about what a future career in the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) disciplines would bring. Meetings are approximately once a month on Saturday mornings throughout the academic year, with a final presentation day in the early afternoon on a Saturday in March. The program includes modules on professional development, science mentorship, and research via studying scientific literature. One-on-one mentorship is provided by one of our Faculty & Postdoctoral Mentors. We will work with students who may have transportation needs to and from program events. Browse the links to the left to learn more about what to expect from our program and eligibility requirements and expectations for successful completion of the program.
Applications are now CLOSED for the 2019-2020 academic year.
